February 2026 Update: Personalized Profiles, Better Edit Controls & Custom Branding

Make Novis faster and more professional with three key updates: set your role once, control how you view document edits, and automate your firm's branding.

1. Set Your Context Once

You no longer need to repeat your role, industry, or preferred tone in every chat. You can now define your professional profile globally.

  • How it works: Go to Settings > User Settings. Enter your role (e.g., "Senior Legal Counsel," "Product Manager"), your preferred language, and any specific instructions.

  • The Benefit: Novis automatically adapts its expertise, terminology, and output style to match your profile in every interaction.

2. New Editing Control: The Visibility Button

We have enhanced the Document Toolkit with a new Visibility Button (represented by an eye icon). This feature gives you a quick way to compare proposed edits against your original text.

  • Show Edits (Default): Displays the standard "redlines" (insertions and deletions). Use this to review specific suggestions.

  • View Original: Click the eye icon to hide the suggestions and reveal your original document exactly as it was before the edits were proposed.

  • Why use it? Sometimes redlines can get messy. Toggling to the "Original" view allows you to quickly reference your starting point to ensure the new suggestions actually improve upon your original thought.

3. Organization Branding (Admins Only)

Administrators can now customize Novis to align with your firm’s brand identity.

  • How it works: Navigate to Settings > Organization.

  • What you can do: Upload your company logo, define primary brand colors, and set default fonts.

  • The Result: Every document Novis generates - whether it’s a memo, a report, or a contract - will automatically apply your firm’s styling, making deliverables client-ready the moment they are created.
